Meet the Artisans

Derawala in the Bagru cluster brings together over 300 artisans, with women preparing the dabu mud resist and men handling dyeing, printing, and finishing. Operating three artisan-led innovation units, the workshop specializes in natural-dye Bagru handblock printing using organic cotton and copper-vat processes. With decades of experience and international recognition, the Dherawala team blends heritage craftsmanship with reliable production quality, offering both sampling and large-scale yardage for domestic and export orders.
