The Keeper of Bagru’s Timeless Art

Meet the Artisans

Derawala in Bagru cluster brings together over 300 artisans, where women prepare the dabu mud resist and men handle dyeing, printing, and finishing with practiced precision. The workshop operates three innovation units, each managed by skilled artisans capable of overseeing complete production independently. Specialising in natural-dye Bagru handblock printing, the vendor works primarily with organic cotton and sustainable processes such as copper-vat dyeing for lasting depth of colour. With decades of experience and international recognition, Dherawala’s team combines heritage craftsmanship with consistent production quality, offering both sampling and large-scale yardage for domestic and export orders.
