Loom Story, led by young artisan Paresh Bhai from Kotay in Kutch, blends traditional handloom weaving with modern innovation to uplift local communities. Paresh, currently pursuing his MCom, leads a cluster of 20-30 artisans specializing in Kala cotton and extra-weft weaving. Through new techniques and technology like Pantone shade matching, Loom Story bridges gaps between heritage craftsmanship and contemporary market demands. The initiative is especially focused on empowering older artisans, providing sustainable work and nurturing the emerging generation. Paresh's efforts are helping Kotay evolve as a promising hub for Kala cotton textiles, combining cultural preservation with economic growth and innovative artistry.

Loom Story, led by Paresh Bhai from Kotay village in Kutch, is a vibrant artisan-led initiative with around 80 handloom weavers. Paresh combines ancestral weaving skills with modern entrepreneurship, leveraging Pantone shade matching to deliver precise color consistency for contemporary fashion demands. The unit produces a diverse range of textiles, including Kachchh motifs woven on Kala cotton and silk, catering to sampling, custom orders, and bulk production with consistent quality assurance. Paresh Bhai's team showcases collaborative creativity, adapting traditional techniques with digital marketing and direct client engagement via social media, enabling scalable production while preserving handloom heritage and fostering local livelihoods in Kutch
